About 6 years ago, a very special client of ours asked us for help on a static website that was created for them after their developer went another route. She used the website to to provide all of her wedding details and information to her friends and family. The way it was developed would not allow her to upload photos, videos or even change text because it was not a content management system (think WordPress). We were more than happy to help her out and she is still a valued client of ours to this very day.
While researching this idea for a “one stop shop” type of deal, I asked her to give her opinion on whether or not it mattered to her if she could update the website as her events progressed and if she ever went back to view the one that is still live. She said “absolutely” on both questions – and that got us thinking…
